We lived in a singlewide for 4 years before buying a 'REAL' house..... wasn't on a park though ! we owned the half acre of land and the garage was bigger than the trailer :rofl:
We were poor .... but happy, now we have a huge mortgage payment and misery :(

I never realised that they existed in the capacity that you see them on Jerry Springer...but I lived that life for 6 months in Illinois when I met my ex-hubby he lived on one and it was awful and I mean awful beyond anything that I had ever seen before, he lived there because he just managed to stop himself going backrupt and it was all he could afford, now the trailer its self was beautiful 3 bedrooms 3 bathrooms huge living room and dining room if I could of picked it up and dropped it in the middle of the countryside I would have.

We had a girl raped outside our trailer one night at 7.30pm never heard a thing, it was pitbull city,I swear there was not a set of teeth between the whole park, old trucks cars laying outside homes terrible I was so scared after being brought up with the picket fence lifestyle it was a cuture shock I can tell you.
The crunch came when the ex was attacked and hit acrossed the head with a weapon like a baton and ended up in hospital with stitchs...I never want to re-live those days and would not wish them on anyone, what an experiance.:eek:

Yes I aged believe me and I was a bag of nerves but there was no other option and we wanted to be together.

Now I look back I just cannot imagine in a million years how I did it.
