Re: Circumcision

Some tribes in Africa practice vaginal mutilation. Apparently women should not have the right to enjoy any pleasure in the process of reproduction.

It's amazing how much mankind is capable of screwing up everything around him

Fwiw, I'm against making any permanent changes to a child's body until they are old enough to make that decision themselves, unless there is medical need. This includes ear piercing.

Hear, hear :goodpost:

Oh God, not this topic again. Every 18 months to 2 years or so, the same discussion gets dusted off for another airing on here.

And nothing changes with regards to outlawing this barbaric procedure. There are a lot of good things about the US, but this is not one of them.

Makes no bloody sense. Unless there is a valid medical reason, like adhesions or phimosis or something to have it done, there is no good sense to removing a postcard sized piece of skin with 15,000 nerve endings in it that has evolved to make the penis a self-lubricating organ. It's not like the appendix, it has a function. Plus it's super easy to keep clean as well and even circumsised men can get smegma if they don't keep their old fella properly cleaned.
