What a grinch! He could have left it up for a bit longer.

I know......how awful, but unfortunately taking the tree down is one of my pet hates! One year I even considered not having a tree because the thought of taking it down after Christmas was too much.:D

 You could go all redneck, or "eccentric" and have it up all year! Decorate it with different things for different holidays? All your friends would just think you were "a little bit strange". ;)

Or so you'd have us all believe. My theory is that being a scouser you probably nicked the tree in the first place then kept it up until the coast was clear and all the fuss had died down before dumping by the side of the road.

Ehh! Eh! Ehhh??

That is a good idea.. I should have left it up. I could have been hanging little eggs and bunnies on it right now. What the hell, everyone thinks I'm strange anyway, so I might as well live up to my reputation!:D

I'll have you know that yesterday was The Day. The tree got chopped up & sent out in the yard debris can.
But it was still green and juicy all the way through. I've never seen anything like it.

Sounds like you should have eaten it, not thrown it away.
