Could have done. He was annoying as all get out though and it was a quiet night on a solo gig so it was virtually impossible to escape from him without hiding in the bog.

Not something I've thought long and hard about but I think a person born here, raised here, paying in here etc. and still living here has more right to be granted citizenship than somebody who has a great grandparent emigrated and dead and buried years ago in another land.

We had a fella come to our house in Florida started to tell me he had Oirish relatives then offered to tarmac my drive with some stuff left over from another job cheap. That was when I knew he was true irish stock

Well the Travelers have quite a similar reputation in the U.S. And of course, as I am sure you all know, they are Irish. I watched en expose about them some years back. Quite fascinating, and disturbing in many ways.
