It's candy that looks like corn. You can only get it around Halloween. Or sometimes around May/June when you move all the Winter coats and find a few kernels in a pocket.

I shudder in disgust every time I see it. I must have over-dosed on it as a child, because as an adult, I would cry no tears of sadness if it disappeared from store shelves.

Actually, with corn being one of the staple crops here since the first colonization, I think it kind of goes with the whole Fall "harvest" theme.

My favorite Halloween treat. I love the ones with the brown bottoms the best. Next to that I love Mary Janes.
