can this be true?
i have been reading few visa cases in this forum and wish to get advice on this issue.
my esta application was approved on the third application attempt i made with the same personal details n passport info. the first 2 application was not authorised because of previous visa denial. this is my first uk passport. i submitted the 1st esta application a week after receiving my uk passport n it got denied as well as d second application 7days later.
could it be that uk passport agency database is not linked to the us dept of state in time when a new passport is issued?

That said, if you've had a previous visa denial, you may not be eligible to use the VWP even if ESTA says okay. You may need to apply for a B-2 visa. Do not try to hide the prior visa denial behind the guise of a new passport.
