Fatbrit for suggesting the ASUS transformer. I bought the TF300 for Jim for his birthday and he was absolutely thrilled with and exclaimed that it was "right" brand to have bought. Of course, he got ever conceivable accessory for it as well.

I gave myself a two week early birthday present and bought a 2013 Hyundai Elantra with the special package. My sky blue baby is a dream to drive and is purported to get good gas mileage. Got a decent trade-in for the 2005 Sonata (57,000 mi) so very very happy.

Oooh, nice purchases! My wife has a 2011 Elantra ltd and we love it. It's a really nice car! The gas mileage isn't quite what they claim but it is still good. You can get 40+ but only if you ONLY drive on the freeway and at 60mph. We average about 32 mpg in ours which we're pretty happy with. It's mostly freeway though we're in Houston so that doesn't mean much.

Congrats on the new car.

Hyundai have some nice looking cars right now.

The Veloster Turbo is out soon (next month?). Quite tempted, but i cant see me letting the Miata go.

It's cool, but it is quite small. They've done a really good job with the styling in recent years. The new Azera is quite nice too, very well equipped for the price.

Glad you're enjoying your new toy Grandma Rete...it's good to see you're spoiling yourself.
