a little tip always google the airline and destination with the world bargain and often you will find websites offering cheaper deals than the actual flight company

Flights deffo go up on demand.
I remember last year we booked 8 seats to Orlando after which they went up by quite a whack!
At the min there seems to be a big demand from US to UK and vice versa, my hubby had trouble getting a seat and had to go 3 days later (UK to US)
when he got to airport on Tues they wanted him to give up his seat n stay in a hotel so goodness knows why its so busy.

In case you've missed the recent news about BA & some other airlines being prosecuted for 'price fixing' BA alone has incurred a total of £270 million in fines from the UK & US Govt... here's the BBC article to read more on it:
