I had lots of visitors to my birdfeeder in Virginia which was on the deck. Some days there was a major party going on. Photos were taken through the window (Canon T3i, most are using the 75-200mm zoom lens). Apart from the eagle which was snapped in Whittier, Alaska.

Your first photo (top left) is great!! Really shows the looong tongue of the northern Flicker. Woodpeckers have astonishingly long tongues, the better to grab bugs & grubs, but you don't see many photos showing them... Well done!

We get 5 different types of woodpecker on the feeders at our lounge window including the big Pileated. Awaiting the return of hummingbirds, orioles, Grosbeaks, Indigo Buntings - and herons and kingfishers in the pond - though they might have got all the fish last year

I think its the most attractive of the birds that visited my deck - even more than the ruby-throated hummingbirds that called. Lovely markings.

I have yet to see a hummingbird, even though I put up the hummingbird feeder a few weeks ago and refill it regularly. Hummingbirds have been reported in my area for a while now. Something is emptying the feeder, but I never manage to see who exactly...LOL! I've been told woodpeckers could be doing it ... with those clever loong tongues of theirs.
Also Baltimore orioles--we do have some of those about. Or bees... ? Next spring I'll move the hummingbird feeder closer to the window.

This Fella turned up in the back yard yesterday. Had him eating out of my hand after he posed here.

Here are a couple of larger birds on the pond down the hill from us. Now that the ice has melted they're back....

I agree about the Flickers. I love their beautiful markings.
