Right, so there is now an ex Copperhead lying in my yard. My exterminator (irony) had just left and I went to do my walkabout in the garden, but this time armed wityh a shovel and damned if the bugger wasn't lying there, but this time with the head up. I hurried to get the dogs back in the house, and then went back and it was still there. Madame Guillotine they call me, :sneaky:
 Good work! I really have nothing against snakes and all non-venomous ones are left alone as are venomous ones encountered away from the house. But a venomous snake near my house would get the same traetment! |

I did check yesterday to make sure that the snake I killed this am was venomous and not a good guy. I have alot of toads around and have no desire to lose any of them. The toads eat the bugs and that's fine with me. I get a kick out of the little tiny green frogs that suction themselves to the windows and eat the bugs. :) |

That is so cute :) We have lots of toads and frogs in our garden; the cats have learned that they are not good food morsels  Not seen any scary critters like snakes here. In fact, we have a family of baby bunnies running around our front garden. And we have hummingbirds nesting in our trees. Now that I can cope with  |
