There's hope here in east central PA. One butcher at the Allentown Fairgrounds has bangers, using an original recipe from an old British lady. Another has access to Irish back bacon. I'll report back later on both.
Meanwhile, Pulaski's notice of a shop in NC that stocks the real deal also gives us hope.

Went to a bar (Brass Monkey) in NYC to watch the Autumn Rugby Internationals last week, they served proper pork sausages and english bacon...that bacon was like heaven.
that would be a $400 breakfast, just to get there.

I had a friend visiting Scotland post a breakfast photo recently. What is lorne sausage? it didn't look good, it was square like a Wendys burger.

Just had sixteen pounds of sausage custom made for us, with authentic lincolnshire flavour....because LizzyQ came over with enough to make 48 pounds...
