I am also moving to ATL in a few weeks. It's an amzing place. How come you are moving, where abouts, what will u be doing there? Be good to have some more brit friends in the area! Have you registered with meetup.com for atlanta, they have lots of social events. There is a great 'british' pub and shop in norcross selling all brit food!
