I'm 6'2 and 275lbs.
I fit in the seats fine.
The vast majority of people fit in the seats fine.
lets not preted that EVERY time you get on a flight youre sat next to Cyril Smith, ok?

I'm sure I recall someone somewhere suggesting taking out the thick and generally useless foam padding on airline seats and doing a sort of mesh type seat like Herman Miller Aeron office chairs. Not only more comfortable but lighter weight and instantly gains inches in leg room. I think one airline considered the idea then it disappeared.
