Me too!

We live a small walk away from a local beach. It's not the best beach in the area, and usually we see only a few people who live nearby there swimming (no lifeguard). There's a tiny little car park (about 4 cars max) so it's not on the preferred list of most tourists.

Never seen more than a bare handful of people on it, but the night of our town fireworks, it was mobbed with people, hard to find a place to sit. And the beach road was stuffed down both sides with parked cars. What a madhouse!!!

After it was all over, as the husband & I walked home back up the hill, we passed the traffic jam. Police had made some roads one-way & set up various detours but we could hear the roads were still in a mess 15 mins later when we got home.
