Well when the yes camp spends 200+ million on their campaign hard for the No camp to compete. Uber $58,361,469 DoorDash $51,905,814 Lyft $48,937,462 Instacart $31,584,393 Postmates $13,319,307 The above companies have far deeper pockets and were the primary drivers of the proposition as their entire business model relies on cheap labor. Union $5,044,567 United Food & Commercial Workers $4,225,000 Teamsters $2,435,837 California Labor Federation $2,274,565 |

As someone who pays no attention to the political adds other than for amusement always amazes me how easily and cheaply then can be bought.

I see the head of the Proud Boys now has a legal order banning him from DC. So confusing given Trump assured us it was Antifa causing all the violence.

How does it work out for refrigerated produce? All independent contractors using their own vehicles, but they are supposed to use thermal bags so hot stays hot and cold stays cold. |
Re: 2020 Election
Well that was not how I expected the process to go yesterday, but in the end it all went on with the predicted final result.

Re: 2020 Election
Doesn’t the final ratification signal the end of the 2020 election? Wondering if the thread had reached its natural conclusion.

Re: 2020 Election
Hardly. There are still 2 weeks to go before Biden is sworn in as our 46th President.
If Trump is impeached and removed in the interim, Biden will be our 47th President, after Pence. |

Re: 2020 Election
A few weeks ago I was saying that Trump had a very good shot at winning the 2024 Republican nomination. It does seem that those chances have dropped significantly.
