2020 Election

Re: 2020 Election
Are the mods not deleting such posts? I played around on my Nextdoor in AZ for a while, and every 'political' post got deleted (eventually) as well as most 'wild' covid-19 related posts (anti-mask, mainly). I'm scared to log on now as I've been away from it for months ...

Re: 2020 Election
I had asked this question earlier, no one seemed to have a definitive answer. Are ballot envelopes (which contain the signature) retained after having the enclosed ballot removed? The purpose of the question was, can they 'audit' the signature verification if needed. The answer would appear to be yes.
I just found this site - https://www.co.grand.co.us/DocumentC...cessing?bidId= that describes the ballot processing in great detail. I believe this is specific to Colorado.
Key bit ...
"The ballot envelopes, secrecy sleeves, and ballot stubs in the Tyvek envelopes are placed in secured storage boxes to be stored for 25 months following the election."

step 2 remove ballot from envelope never to be associated with sig/name on envelope
.Does anyone think the secrecy envelopes are for nothing (Florida)
Does anyone think trump understands the Process
Is anyone surprised a senior repub not from Georgia, questioned the Georgia SOS on these points
****ing Hell. Ive only been here 15 years and I get it. Even the media seems to not quite understand. Maybe just being polite/respectfull

Either my research faculties have departed me or you've been on the Koolaid.
Plenty of news outlets have been reporting about whether Trump will be banned, and the reasons behind such a ban, once Trump leaves office but the twat is still dumping lies on Twitter.

Re: 2020 Election
Do you think they should have been. They have a number of precincts where the number of ballots counted doesn't match the number of people who voted, and their explanation is it happens every election. I'm a democrat and I wouldn't have voted to certify it without a much better explanation. A mismatch by 1 or 2 in a couple of precincts, but not what they had.

Seems to me, in past elections, all sorts of minor discrepancies were accepted in a spirit of give and take. In this election, one side only (republicans) decided on a policy of no tolerance. More than that, they made stuff up and accepted conspiracy theories uncritically.

I’d want to see a detailed breakdown of these mismatches, and how it compares with the norm across different states and different elections.

I read last night that in one precinct Wayne County had 27 more ballots than people who voted. That is not acceptable.
