I wonder if he'll be tear-gassing them again?

If Biden has Nevada..to go with Mich and Wisc, he will have 269 electoral college votes.... If Trump wins Pa, N.C. and Georgia, it is a tie 269-t0 269...but....Nebraska gives 2 votes to the overall state winner and 1 vote to the winner of each of their 3 congressional districts. Biden won one district, which gives him 1 vote..plus 269 is 270. Winner. Still want him to get Pa, Georgia and N. Carolina. Otherwise Trump will never accept it.

Considering how divided the US is, what is the solution to this problem?

A country really cannot function well polarized and divided, where each side see's the other not as fellow citizens but an enemy of sorts.

Where are you seeing that? Everywhere I look says that if he gets Nevada he has 270 so you seem to have lost a vote somewhere.

I hope it's not a tie.

Seems elections would be smoother if we just dumped the electoral college, and let the popular vote decide, really ought to be the majority of citizens who vote to decide.

The electoral college in 2020 doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense, designed in a different era and a much smaller country.

At some point it seems everyone forgot the US Constitution is supposed to be a living document and changed when needed, but it seems to be a document on life support.

It won't cure the division, but dumping the electoral college would at least give the election to the winner of the popular vote,,,,as it should be.

They are likely including the 1 vote from Nebraska.

I was just updating as you were posting, about how it seems the process would be smoother and easier to decide with just a popular vote, its not like that is some radical idea considering just about every other political office is decided that way.

Since you like to use unusual words, I did look up Calim

So I'm guessing this was a typo ... but you never know with you

It was an explanation of something that the overwhelming number of people likely do not know.....That Nebraska and Maine split their electoral votes. Anyone just looking at the delegate count from states won
would end up with 269 as per the individual states delegates and be unaware of the 1 Nebraska vote.

fair enough, it's been virtually cancelled out as Maine have repaid the vote to trump.

Keep a close eye on Georgia, expect them to complete in the coming hours and it could well sneak blue for game over....down to a 54k lead at the moment...

My local Fox station has just said the NC isn't even counting votes, they are going to wait until the 9 (?) days for absentee ballots to all be in before finishing their count. If that's not giving the old two finger salute to the orange turd I don't know what is.

Somebody should tell him that we don't do royal proclamations in the US. Lifted off twitter ...
We have claimed, for Electoral Vote purposes, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (which won’t allow legal observers) the State of Georgia, and the State of North Carolina, each one of which has a BIG Trump lead. Additionally, we hereby claim the State of Michigan if, in fact,.....

Georgia and N.C. both...very close. Georgia....4,770,501 votes counted. 54,500 vote lead for Trump but almost 148,000 votes left to count, mostly from Atlanta, strongly Democrat.
North Carolina, 5,387,467 votes counted,77,500 vote lead for Trump...but 344,000 votes left to count. And both races are under 2% difference in votes per candidate.
So still hope for both of them.

Fox News called AZ for Biden at 11pm last night, and Trump team were livid. They are STILL arguing with the Fox News 'caller' right now! He's standing his ground and saying it's a done deal. Even the NYT have not called AZ yet! So here we have Fox News going for Biden before the NYT - how's that for irony!

They (Fox) also just said they don't expect Nevada to release more results till tomorrow!

I'm watching Fox because it's perversely satisfying watching some of them squirm!
