and now...
He's hitting the campaign trail once again - beginning next Wed 19 June in Tulsa Oklahoma *** (see link below)
Gonna pack 'em in (social distancing be damned).
Adoring, un-masked (?) throngs screaming and yelping - their air-borne droplets floating here, there, everywhere...
It will be interesting to follow the impact of this stunt upon the movement of the poll projections, published today, by The Economist :

I dont believe he is well read enough to keep hitting these dog whistles. Too many coincidences for them to be coincidence.
He must have a Minster for Dog Whistling advising him.

Re: 2020 Election
Maybe we should have a poll with 4 x choices.
1. Win for Trump
2. Win for Biden
3. Election in November cancelled due to COVID 19.
4. Election goes ahead and due to allegations from both sides the result is declared null and void and another election is held in the future.
Can there be a draw? If so then that's a 5th choice. Each serves 2 years

BTW: it's uncanny how much he resembles Vladimir Putin- in more senses than 3

He's in the thrall of 2 masters of manipulation - each of whom bears an uncanny physical resemblance to the other.
Combine the puppeteers and their poppet.... and the world gets played by a creepy and dangerous trio from hell

"YUGE", significant SCOTUS kick-in-the-face to Trump administration this morning:
They ruled 6-3, with Roberts writing for majority, that effort to end DACA was "arbitrary and capricious" !
WOO-HOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um... the decision was 5-4, with the Chief Justice joining the liberal wing of the court.
A good decision, but hardly as depicted above 'a kick in the face'
The 6-3 decision was on the Civil Rights Act yesterday.

Of course they should be happy - but you are aware that the decision does not preclude him doing the same thing, tomorrow, based on a slightly different rationale, right?
Muslim ban, anyone?
This is the problem with governing via Executive Order. You're asking courts to navel gaze into the reasons for taking a specific course. At least when Congress takes action, it is easier to speculate intent in a full piece of legislation.

Amy Klobuchar has removed herself from consideration as Biden's running mate, stating that he would be better off with a woman of colour as VP.

Re: 2020 Election
She’s right, and Klobuchar is an admirable person, but, saying this undoubted good judgement out loud, doesn’t it leave the eventual choice open to criticism of “filling a quota” or whatever? Maybe it doesn’t matter.

Re: 2020 Election
This is simply her jumping before she was pushed IMO.
With her record as a prosecutor in the geographic area where Floyd was murdered, and her reputation as someone who usually stood by the Police, she was too toxic to pick anyway. I'm sure Biden told her he was moving on from her and she asked to be allowed to drop out herself.

Isn't choosing somebody purely on the basis of their colour racist?
