She knows that and the only way she runs, is if the purpose of her candidacy is to increase her name recognition, and thus her contract leverage and negotiating chips, in preparation for resigning her house seat to take a corporate or TV gig. She would be far from the first to use a presidential run for those kinds of purposes. What you don't realise is AOC is a hustler, just like Trump, they just serve different markets. AOC has no money of her own and will look to cash in on her name at some point in the next ten years - she knows her window will close and some other young firebrand will supplant her in the green-left chic consciousness if she waits too long. The interview aired in part on Thursday as the San Luis Obispo Tribune unearthed a 1996 court document, which stated that Reade had told to her ex-husband that she had been subject to sexual harassment while working in Biden’s Senate office. It is the first contemporaneous record to corroborate her claim. According to the document, filed in the California Superior Court and dated 25 March 1996, Reade’s ex-husband, Theodore Dronen, said that Reade told him about “a problem she was having at work regarding sexual harassment, in US Senator Joe Biden’s office.†The Tribune reported that the document does not state who committed the harassment nor does it mention Reade’s more recent allegation of sexual assault. Dronen wrote that Reade told him she had struck a deal with the chief of staff in Biden’s office and “left her position.†The experience had a “very traumatic effect†on Reade, he added in the court declaration, which was in response to her request for a temporary restraining order against him. |

We are nearing the five month mark till early voting. Not surprising questionable people and strange accusatory claims are being made about Biden. He has a long history of service using government as a means to improve people's lives. Those in power will do everything including making stories up to stop the upcoming power change. This Reade lady has changed her story multiple times regarding Biden. She has even said how comfortable she felt being around Biden even after the supposed event. That is not the usual opinion for people that have experienced terrible encounters with a bad person. And Biden has since gone through at least 6 senate and Vice president elections. And Reae had remained quiet till now. And several of the people Reade said she told about the incident, have said they never had a conversation with Reade about this topic. That is credibility killing in the worse way. And it has recently come out in the news that Reade is on record saying how she finds powerful men very attractive and has done so in a very descriptive manner. More is being learned which might prove problematic for her. Apparently Reade is a huge Putin fan as well. Doesn't sound like the usual Democrat. I expect everything including accusations that my yet born great grandchildren are the love child of Joe Biden. We are going to have five months of a crap storm but dealing with that will all be worth it to end the most corrupt administration in the last 150 years.
When Bill Clinton and Trump both ran for office and both had multiple women step forward accusing them of sexual acts. And those women were easy to believe because there was a pattern. There is zero pattern with Joe Biden in this regard. But sadly it's par for the course in politics to have lies thrown at you. I just hate to see this type of lie used because there are actual victims of sexual assault who have consistently told their story and may have gotten dates wrong but they never went from saying how comfortable they felt around the person they are accusing, then change that to saying sexual harassment, then change it decades later to saying sexual assault. Christine Ford certainly was the oppose of Reade imo. . But let the games begin! |

Long Twitter thread about the payroll info that Tara Reade chose to make public. I guess she didn't realize that it would indicate her pay was docked for misconduct three times, including well before the alleged incident.
"ADM PAY DEC = decrease in salary per 5 CFR § 534.404(b)(6) for performance or disciplinary reasons. So she was docked twice immediately after she was hired. Also the pay decrease was long before the alleged abuse and therefore not retaliatory." ...
