She seems to terrify the rightwing, it's the only reason why they would spend so much time on her when she has so little actual power to enact anything. We would know next to nothing about her if they didn't go on about her all the time. They tried to play her off as being as dumb as Trump in order to distract from him, but they just don't have the material. She is naive at best, with a couple of minor flubs, but that's it. Doesn't stop them from dismissing everything she says by just calling her an idiot though.
