Georgia is a **** knows as can't even find clear data on how many votes left to count.

Pa is steadily going blue, so looks like at least 269 for Biden....

I thought Georgia would have finished by now but 3000 ballots an hour seems slow to me...

Meanwhile conspiracy theorists have time to do some barely convincing Photoshopping.

GA seems to be slower than a snail.....lol

This is what GA apparently told CNN as to what's being counted today.

They also don't seem to know how many provisional ballots there are and trying to get a more accurate number for those, and people with outstanding issues on their ballot such as s signature not matching have until Friday to resolve the issue. Overseas ballots from military and residents living overseas as long as they were postmarked by Tuesday, and arrive by Friday will also need to be counted.
  • Bryan County: 3,027
  • Burke County: 494
  • Chatham County: 17,157
  • Clayton County: 7,408
  • Cobb County: 700 approximately
  • Floyd County: 682
  • Forsythe County: 4,713
  • Fulton County: 11,200
  • Gwinnett County: 7,300
  • Harris County: 3,641
  • Lawrence County: 1,797
  • Putnam County: 1,552
  • Taylor County: 456
“There are absentee ballots from our overseas military voters that if they are postmarked by Tuesday have to be accepted by Friday. There are provisional ballots that need to be verified by Friday, and if you have an absentee ballot with an issue like missing a signature or something, you have until Friday to cure those.”

Definitely a rock and a hard place. Without the Senate, Biden is going to be hard-pressed to change much. It will be wonderful not to have to listen to Trump for the next 4 years ... or at least, not see him speak as the president. I suspect we will actually here more from Trump than Biden over the next 4 years even if Biden wins. He'll spend the next 4 years stirring up every possible dust storm, and then try again in 2024. But stopping the madness now will be a small consolation. Losing to Biden will hit his ego big time.

Can political parties in the US kick someone out/not allow them to run under the party banner?

Like say here in Canada, the parties have pretty tight control over who can run under their banner.

There are plenty of other States who are just as far behind in counting, if not further, but they don't matter so much due to the heavy slant towards one party.

Georgia is having the fun that all the mailed in ballots they are processing now need to be checked against on the day votes as they were not allowed to open them before the day. It makes the count go very, very slowly.

All kicking off in Portland.
That would be a small number of the total of 350 demonstrators. No worse than it has been most other nights. If PPB and MCSO were professional outfits and not part of Billy Smarts Circus this would have been stopped weeks ago. Not sure the National Guard even got out of their Humvee. Total over reaction by the clown of a Governor.

I assume because enough votes have come Bidens ways so far. It's a very small state. Estimated at 78% counted so far, I assume they can count what they have later today and won't have enough expected votes to sway it.

Still only rumours so far but the data backs it up. I expect it may well get called by a network later, doubtful that it will be fox though

The TV Networks are crunching data to determine when they feel confident that remaining votes has little to no chance of changing the outcome - hence why a State such as CA gets called the moment it closed without a vote being counted. The actual result isn't until December, is it?

Indeed! New York Times (who's website is the best, IMO, in terms of tracking numbers at all levels - state, county; congressional district; etc) still haven't called AZ!

The candidate for 2024 will have to go through the standard primary process as always. It was somewhat short-circuited this year due to virtually no opposition and the virus, but 4 years from now I would expect a heated battle between either Donald J Trump and/or his offspring, and someone else hoping to restore normalcy. Could be a fun show.

FOX called Arizona ages ago, and they were talking about maybe that was a little too early, and they may have to reconsider it, so I think they will be reluctant to call Nevada early at all

This was my question also, a while back. "You don't know what you don't know". The theoretical maximum number of votes is the sum total of registered voters. But the final vote count is never even close to the total number of registered voters, so you really can't predict exactly when 'no more votes are arriving" (prior to the deadline). So the networks do their own statistical analysis and 'call' based on their own private, proprietary methodologies (not official). That's why AZ has been called by Fox but not NYT, for example. I think the 'final certification' comes weeks later, after the final deadlines. But if all the networks agree, and the CANDIDATES agree, then candidates usually declare victory. I think Biden will declare victory if the networks call AZ and NV, for example. But we shall see. I'm still nervously holding my breath.
