There’s a point when revenues start to decline steeply -2015. You know, the point where one would expect pay to play to increase if that’s what it was about. Similarly revenues stagnated when she ran in ‘08 which again is strange if it’s about pay to play. Now if revenues had increased until the end of ‘16 and then started dropping it would be more interesting. But that not what happened - revenues had already been declining steeply for two years by that point. Amusingly IBD uses the words skyrocketing and massively declines when it suits them but is entirely silent about the steep declines that started in 2015.

I stand corrected! Was it the mid-terms, perhaps, where the Dems saw a bump? The scandal broke early 98, so I assume there were mid-terms late 98 and that's where his increased popularity helped?

According to this, the 1998 midterms left things pretty much unchanged:

Former Nevada politician alleges Joe Biden kissed the back of her head in 2014, made her feel 'uneasy, gross, and confused'

Could this kill Joe? I was under the impression that there could be a lot more.

Isn't this pretty much baked in with Biden? I mean, we all know he is 'Uncle Joe' with all the negative connotations about an old uncle. I don't think it will kill him any more than it killed Trump, but it will do damage with the left wong of the party if true.

Of course, he can simply decline to run and not lose anything. It's not like he's even in the race yet.

This does, to me, tend to suggest Biden simply has a way of 'getting up close' to people that is not sexual; it's just his way.

I worked with a guy who was shall we say touchy and it was just how he was and never thought more about it, not something you can do now, especially in the political sphere.
