With Bannon appointed to a high position in the administration I become very concerned about him being given a security clearance. Has to be one of the last people I would want to have such access.

In the good news...Ben Carson has turned down the opportunity to be in the administration because he has no government experience. Did not seem to bother him when he was running for President.

Speaking of which. Trump wants clearance for his fcking kids? Maybe Bannon, but not Tiffany obviously... WTF? Of course they're still going to be running his business. Anyone who has ever said they had a problem with the Clinton Foundation over conflict of interest would be massive hypocrites if they weren't up in arms about this.

Thankfully that is not going anywhere. They would have to be on paid staff and that cannot happen because of the no nepotism law that prohibits a President from hiring family members. The only clearance they could possibly receive would be for unescorted access to the Whitehouse...but no access to classified material. Besides..Donald will tell them everything anyway..opening himself up to serious charges. Hell..I will be waiting for his first tweet of classified info.

Doesn't the President have executive privilege for his family? Or does that only extend to the spouse? I certainly know that the Spouse is cleared since the assumption is the President will confide in them.

There actually is the potential for the Trump kids to work in the White House as per the CNN article below

Donald Trump’s children: Will they be his advisers? - BBC News

Essentially, he could hire them onto his staff, but because he violated the nepotism condition, they wouldn't be paid - but they could still be on his staff. This would include his son-in-law Kershner.

Since Trump has also repeatedly said his children would also run his business, it brings up the potential of massive perceptions of conflict of interest and impropriety that would fuel controversy after controversy, ESPECIALLY if the kids had access to classified information.

I see his national security advisor has either resigned or got pushed out. Maybe related?

I think he was implanting pieces of his own brain into patients...and then ran out of enough brain for himself.

A daughter who is now advertising the jewelry she wore on her 60 minutes television appearance with Trump post election. Not illegal, of course, but c'mon:

Ivanka Trump's jewelry brand used her "60 Minutes" appearance to promote the bracelet she was wearing — Quartz
