2016 Election
IMO 'ridiculously close' a good thing...the establishment vs new blood. Whoever wins...it shows people want a change from the same old same old.
Tbh I disagree. All it shows is that people have no idea what they are voting for or why. It appears to be a game to many people, like a sporting event. They will forget about it in a couple of days. Trump isn't new blood or a change - he is a corrupt and dishonest businessman with a few screws loose and profoundly backward in many ways. He wasn't a politician, and that is all.

Two corrupt candidates.

It may be a game to some...but this is the so called 'greatest democary in the world'...so we shall see as the results unfold.
Well in that he comes off as a raving troglodyte lunatic he's different. But he still represents the interests of the wealthy and corporate America, of which he is part. The lack of superficial polish is not what I would describe as change.
I got a sticker for voting for christ's sake, like a child at the dentist.

On the other hand raving does seem to describe his approach. I would be more worried that he has some indications of early dementia. I haven't studied psychology, but he has said some strange things.
Well we shall have to agree to disagree. At the end of the day...if either or both parties had different nominees...this would be a different ball game.
And thanks for the edit. Phone posting.....

From what I gather large corporations supporting Clinton, establishment media and politicians in both parties largely against Trump, certainly union leaders and academia- what part of the establishment is Trump representing ?

He's a change from career politicians...for some.
