This is 100% accurate. I think, over time, people are going to have to fully grasp the implications of the fact that what they do/say on the internet is de-facto public record. I suspect we are living in that brief period of time when people still haven't figured it out. The next generation will behave quite differently I imagine.

In a similar vein, even a total moron like Trump, in the future, might realize that having a conversation with 'another guy' on the back of a bus, presumably with microphones and cameras around, is not 'private'.

It's true, cable news is all about ratings so they report the trashiest and most salacious stories most frequently. They've been doing this to the Clinton's for decades. It's not the Democrats fault that Donald Trump is more disgusting than the Clintons. If he hadn't been assaulting women for decades, maybe they'd be reporting on Podesta's emails.

When people are subjected to this kind of assault, by a powerful person, they usually think it only happened to them and they must have done something wrong to bring it on themselves. They don't know about all of the others, they are humiliated, and other than with the people closest to them, they don't talk about it. Serial molesters/rapists/pedophiles know how victims tend to self-blame and they count on that to keep their whole game going.

Sunshine is the best antiseptic, and if the victims start hearing public stories about other victims, they finally understand what happened to them.

By definition most people posting here are paying some attention, there was a survey on another site about how much you knew about the election, I managed 19/20, got the number of classified emaisl she had on her server wrong, more than I thought.

My assumption is that most people would be in single digits.

Of course Trump is more fun, but when he goes what do they do then? She no longer needs cover, only game in town and I am sure there is more to come out so wall to wall stories, ratings is what matter.
