off all and sundry? really? they have taken nothing off me. And i'd rather vote against their religious agenda which they seek to impose on everyone else, which is what I've originally tried to say. I hope that clears things up.

Perhaps indirectly they have. Many major charities are run by religious organisations and tell me they're not skimming off the top ...

Anyway, aside from that, they have absolutely no problem scamming their own followers every week into giving lots of lovely money tax free every Sunday morning.

It's not right. There is an estimated $71 billion in 'lost taxes' due to the religious exemption. $71 billion - think what could be done with that money.

Well then we are in agreement. In a very roundabout way.

Makes me wonder why most businesses aren't non-profit (untaxed) paying the defacto owner a wage as big as they like, just like most churches. There must be some law about this, but the NFL got away with it for a long time.

I think that's it; it's ironic and unfortunate that they are targeting the one person most likely to help them, but I think they view the rest as too far gone. Lots of analogies for this but my mind is coming up blank right now ...

Thanks for posting that

I found it to be far more than just a fun an' games diversion.

On the contrary - it actually breaks down all the salient issues (many of which I'd not considered before) with great specificity.
It then allows you to compare how you feel about each with all 18 (so far ) candidates.
Really useful and informative, I felt

oh yeah....my responses similar to yours - with exception of Rand Paul. He's near bottom of my list w. Cruz and Carson in the basement.

I thought it was very good for the same reason. I didn't do the expanded version (where you answer additional questions on the given issue) but I think I will do that later and see if it changes my score. I liked it because it actually made me think and also made me realize that I'm wishy washier than I had imagined. I only felt strongly about a few things and on others I wasn't even 100% convinced that what I answered was actually how I felt.

wow, nicely structured / organized survey!

Not sure how the 'nuanced' choices affect results; one can imagine that my response on same sex marriage of "Take the government out of marriage and instead make it a religious decision" would push me into Rand Paul land.

Anyway my results were Bernie 97%, Hilary 88%, O'Mally (who's he?) 79%, Huckabee 39% (HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?!), Trump 36% (!!!!!), Rand Paul 28% ... Very curious to know how Huckabee is so 'high' ...
