2016 Election

Oh dear, this comes across as pure petulance, Limey. I'm not sure I've ever been accused of being a Republican before - even implicitly. I am in fact a human-rights advocate of many years' standing. Therefore, on behalf of the innocent victims of US expansionism I am extremely fearful of a continuation of the Bush/Obama policy of bombing the shit out of villagers in the Middle East. If you disapprove of that stance, perhaps you should take a second look at your ethical standards - and not waste time trying to figure out where the rest of us get our ideas from.

It's quite obvious that Trump has an election campaign branch office in the Cayman Islands where no doubt a large part of his wealth is stashed away in that haven for tax dodging parasites

Trump should be interviewed by the Secret Service over his 2 amendment remarks. Anybody else making a statement like that would have set of alarm bells immediately

If someone listened to Trump and went out and took a shot at Clinton, could Trump be prosecuted for incitement?

Most assassinations of public figures have been caused by hatred and incitement from extremist groups.
I'm just wondering how many sickos among Trump supporters are out there interpreting Trump's remarks as a call to action.

This was her floor speech during 2002:
I believe the best course is to go to the UN for a strong resolution that scraps the 1998 restrictions on inspections and calls for complete, unlimited inspections with cooperation expected and demanded from Iraq. I know that the Administration wants more, including an explicit authorization to use force, but we may not be able to secure that now, perhaps even later. But if we get a clear requirement for unfettered inspections, I believe the authority to use force to enforce that mandate is inherent in the original 1991 UN resolution, as President Clinton recognized when he launched Operation Desert Fox in 1998.
If we get the resolution that President Bush seeks, and if Saddam complies, disarmament can proceed and the threat can be eliminated. Regime change will, of course, take longer but we must still work for it, nurturing all reasonable forces of opposition.
If we get the resolution and Saddam does not comply, then we can attack him with far more support and legitimacy than we would have otherwise.
If we try and fail to get a resolution that simply, but forcefully, calls for Saddam's compliance with unlimited inspections, those who oppose even that will be in an indefensible position. And, we will still have more support and legitimacy than if we insist now on a resolution that includes authorizing military action and other requirements giving some nations superficially legitimate reasons to oppose any Security Council action. They will say we never wanted a resolution at all and that we only support the United Nations when it does exactly what we want.

Your cartoon version of Clinton does not match reality. You seem to enjoy complaining for the sake of it.

Why his campaign manager bothers to go on is a mystery or maybe it's uttering the kind of stuff that he does has been so successful in getting him to the point where he is now. He's playing a dangerous game though.

It would certainly be interesting to know Gordon's views on Trump's stance on using nuclear weapons, waterboarding and killing the families of known terrorists. For someone who claims to be so concerned about human rights, he's been conspicuously silent on this thread about it.
