The Economist did an analysis of his wealth a few months ago. I don't remember the numbers now, but their conclusion was that although his net worth is likely a lot less than what he claims, it is pretty high.

He's a property developer so it's only to be expected that most of his wealth is tied up in property. He could borrow against that equity if he wanted to, of course.

My point is mainly that he isn't 'self funding' and he never has done --- he can't afford to. He's taken individual/small donations --- like Bernie. He's used free media by constantly inserting himself in the news cycle via douchebaggery. And now we find out he's been stealing from his charities.

Seems McCain suffers from a case of historical myopia. If there's anyone to blame for ISIS it has to be Bush Jnr, Cheney and Rumsfield and the rash invasion of Iraq in search of WMDs, ISIS all came from there

I see John McCain now blaming Obama for Orlando which according to McCain can be traced to the US pullout from Iraq which in turn led to the creation of ISIS,

Bush going in, and Obama pulling out both had some effect, also the Libya thing didn't help. The West has been poking the hornet's nest of the Middle East for decades, centuries even, so yeah there's plenty of blame to go around.

I do love the Japanese, but you have to wonder what they put in the water over there.

All this could backfire, of course, if they all decide to toe the line at the last minute. Late October, there could be a rallying of the troops and they all suddenly 'change their minds' and endorse the f**er; the electorate only remembers the last few days ...
