It will be interesting to see the next Fox News polls comparing Diamond Joe's chances against the Republican Field. At this time, according to their polls, only Jeb leads Hill, and then only within the margin of error.

The polls say otherwise.

More likely, he's an insurance policy against the email "scandal" blowing up.

I know why you don't think this is a scandal, and frankly neither will the public. But mishandling of classified information is a serious issue. Remember how Clinton reacted to the whole Wikileaks thing? The hypocrisy here stinks.

It's just another example of the Clintons thinking the rules don't apply to them.

Do they (the rules) in fact apply to them? The evidence seems to point the other way.

Still amazing how long and drawn out the campaigns are in the US.

Our parliament was just dissolved so the campaign as been officially called, and it's going to be 11 weeks, the longest campaign in over a century...and people are already trying to say we are turning in the US because of it....lol

If only those folks paid attention to just how long the US campaigns are...lol

I've already got US election fatigue . It's a marathon here, not a sprint.

A bit of a lame marathon, no Kenyans in it this time...

If the GOP keep this up for a whole year, they will probably lose every single female vote.

I'm sure the Kenyans will eventually be addressed on Donald Trump's election agenda .

I must say, I'm enjoying it immensely at the moment; pure entertainment!

I'm looking forward to tonight's debate and fully expect to have my mind blown by stupid rhetoric.

It's fundamentally wrong that this is the way the process works, but - given this is what we have to work with, I make the most of it!

My biggest disappointment so far is that Colbert is no longer on the air, and Jon Stewart is about to wrap up - right when the comedy factor is at its highest.

It's pretty laughable at times, and US campaigns always start with a broad range of various nutters, ultimately whittled down to a few 'front runners' who are always a bit less nutters than the rest.

But this one's a bit different. Say what you will about Obama, but he's a pretty tough act to follow. The republicans know this all too well, which explains a bit about why every Republican nutter has thrown their hat into the ring. The democrats don't have another Obama to offer, an there's plenty of good fodder to rubbish Hillary... But in the end, I suspect the republicans will only embarrass themselves again, simply by infighting themselves into laughable oblivion.

So I think this will be a particularly entertaining one. We shall see.

Oh, and just for the record, the UK elections were also rather silly. In a different way, but silly(and surprising) just the same.

True, one wonders why they didn't plan to stop after the 2016 election. My guess would be they wanted the new talent to cut their teeth on it and make their own names.

I think it's more the fact there is always an election on in this country, so there really would be no good time to stop.
