Re: 2016 Election
Heard a thing on NPR this evening. They were talking to this guy who said his first gig in NYC was recording celebrity voices for ring tones. They had an appointment with Trump. They weren't allowed to record "you're fired" because apparently he didn't have the rights to it.
Found a reference. The guy was Dave Hill. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/pe...-10516001.html Finishing off due diligence, I checked the USPTO. He did at one time apply for the TM in very limited uses such as clothing, toys and casinos. But they are all listed as abandoned. |

Oh dear, I haven't read all 506 pages of this post, not even 1 actually. But this gave me a giggle this evening so thought I'd share...
"Of course Donald Trump has backed out of the debate. History has shown chickens should be wary of men named Sanders"!! FB of course. |
Re: 2016 Election
Can't the US Media take Trump down? The fact that he utters so many falsehoods and gets away with it is very disturbing. He's a bit like Sarah Palin without any sense of introspection or humility. A very dangerous guy to put in power. And an idiot too.

Re: 2016 Election
Hillary could demolish Trump with a few simple questions.
How would you get Mexico to pay for your wall ? How would you move hundreds of factory jobs from China back to the US, pay the American workers a liveable wage say 20 + dollars an hour without doubling the cost of all the merchandise that stores like Walmart, Target and umpteen other stores retail and without slowing or damaging the economy at the same time ? Explain how having replaced the Affordable Care Act your plan would be cheaper, much more workable and better than the ACA How would you budget a national defence plan that would reconstruct the military to the world's most hi tech super force while at the same time reducing taxes for everyone and without slashing or reducing other government programs which millions rely on and at the same time not increasing the national debt by a few trillion more ? Since Trump claims he could do all this then it's time someone held his feet to the fire. Hillary needs to do it and prove that Trump is nothing but a big mouth with feet made of clay |

Critical thinking is not a strong point among his followers. His success is more cult like than rational thought. IMHO in case anyone takes offense. |

IMHO in case anyone takes offense. The whole nation will be watching this time, the critical independent voters included. Most of us have some idea already what Hillary's agenda is but Trump has been making some big claims that seem to many already to be on the verge of either ridiculous or outrageous Unless one has come to the conclusion that the American voters as a whole are completely stupid then this "trust me" line of response just isn't going to fly with them |

Would "trust me" be a good enough answer when the time comes for a showdown with Hillary ( who presumably will be the Democrat nominee) ?

Unless one has come to the conclusion that the American voters as a whole are completely stupid then this "trust me" line of response just isn't going to fly with them "Appearing on CNN, an opinion page editor from the Wall Street Journal left no doubt how he feels about presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, saying not only will he not vote for him, but that Trump needs to be crushed in the November election as a lesson to Republicans. Pressed by host Fareed Zakaria if he was going to get behind Trump as the Republican nominee, conservative columnist Bret Stephens got right to the point." “I most certainly will not vote for Donald Trump,†Stephens began tersely. “I will vote for the least left-wing opponent to Donald Trump and I want to make a vote that makes sure he is the biggest loser in presidential history since, I don’t know, Alf Landon.†|
