No matter who you support...the next 5+ months looks like it's gonna get down and dirty. Hang onto your hats...

We need to see Trump's tax returns. I'll bet the S.O.B pays less tax than I do

Even worse is the likelyhood of some shady details. He will never release them.

Of course it was never actually about race...

I long ago lost a lot of respect for some Sanders supporters because of the crap they keep posting on FB. These people make Trump supporters look nice.

"Supporters of Bernie Sanders have been threatening the chairman of the Nevada Democratic Party with violence after delegates for the candidate were deemed ineligible at the state's convention over the weekend. “It’s been vile,” chairwoman Roberta Lange said of the threats. “It’s been threatening messages, threatening my family, threatening my life, threatening my grandchild.” She alleges that one voicemail said she should be "hung in public execution."

It has got out of hand - it's almost like they're throwing a tantrum now. As much as I still would like to see him win, some of these people need to face the reality that it is, at this point, pretty much a done deal.

I saw a post calling out for 'civil disobedience' on the Sanders subreddit earlier, and talking about causing shit at the Democratic Convention in Philadelphia. Just sad, that they have to resort to that kind of tactic. Honestly, if they want to hand Trump a victory in November - that is the best way to go about it.

Given the fact that a huge number of his supporters are students or not much older...one columnists description seems apt..."...Sanders is the candudate for people still living in their parents basement."

Too many of them smack of arrogance and a hell of a lot of them are probably first time voters who just assume it has to go their way or else. The whole Trump and Sanders supporters situation is just disturbing.

That's not too far off the mark.

I have rational reasons for wanting him to win, but that's not the hill I'm going to die on, either.

They certainly are very polarized sets of supporters (or I should say, both sets of supporters contain very polarized groups).

It was on the news this evening that moves are underway to launch a third party candidate with a view to challenging Trump. The Libertarian Party was mentioned. God help us. That bunch are even nuttier then the GOP

No one seemed to mind when they were turning up at Trump's rallies causing trouble, the liberal press were even blaming Trump but suddenly they threaten the Dem establishment and the world's coming to an end. It's been said ad nauseam but Clinton has a yuge problem with young people, they ain't coming out for her at the election. It's relevant to point this out because these people are usually Dems for life

The Libertarians always run a candidate. Gary Johnson was on the ballot in my district for the 2012 election.

Incorrect. That just didn't come up in discussion, for some reason. I don't bring it up because I try to distance myself from those supporters to avoid any kind of 'guilt by association'. I don't agree with what they do, any more than I agree with what Trump says. Whether I support him or not, it's his First Amendment right to organize rallies and speak his mind. That's why we have elections in the first place, so you can vote for the people you want. There is a growing demographic among millennials who want to do away with free speech and it's beyond irritating. They want to shut down any kind of narrative that they disagree with and turn the entire world into an infuriating, cotton-wool-covered safe space where the free exchange of ideas is forbidden. I don't support Trump, I'm not a conservative so he doesn't speak to or for me, but that's OK, I know there are people who do so I choose to not listen to him when he speaks. Nothing he has said (whether genuinely from him, or misinterpreted/spun) is worse than the raping of the First Amendment being carried out by the social justice warriors who are ruining the left.

I'm just to the point of being pretty jaded with the whole circus now to be honest. I was (still am) behind Bernie and I like his positions and his message but **** me if he doesn't have an embarrassing contingent of arseholes supporting him.

If I recall they did cop some criticism on here for restricting free speech and not assembling peaceably - rightly so.

Couldn't agree more.

I've got election fstigue, mainly because at this point I'm done with seeing crybaby rhetoric from both sides.

When does this sh!t get normal?
