Face the truth...Sanders has only run for office in Vermont..without the need to run in a primary. This whole national thing was foreign to him. He never had to deal with 50 different sets of rules for delegate distribution or voter registration requirements. So he does not like it when he bumps up against the same rules candidates had to live by in previous elections and they do not work in his favor. Sadly his current determination to disrupt the convention if he does not get his way is going to seriously damage the party. Two political parties in self destruct mode because of two candidates with arrogant attitudes..one not even a Democrat and the other not really a Republican. The whole thing is nuts.
As for the rest, well maybe the self destruction is a good thing, because I don't know if you've noticed, but the status quo isn't working out too well for the majority of people. |

I've already provided links in this thread to the proof.
Really? Where? I'm not going to say his campaign has been well run, it hasn't. He has been far more successful than even he thought he ever would be and his campaign wasn't prepared for that. But that doesn't mean he's not entitled to point out the flaws in the system. Re: 2016 Election
This is the most fascinating election in the history of forever. If it weren't for the fact of Donald Trump potentially driving this country into the ditch, I would really be enjoying the show.

Re: 2016 Election
So the latest polls say that if Hillary and Trump get to face off the result would be too close to call. On the other hand if Sanders and Trump get to face off Sanders would beat Trump.
So Sanders becomes President and Sanders has to work with Paul Ryan, poles apart in just about everything imaginable. If you think gridlock has plagued Washington for the past 7-1/2 years you aint seen nothing yet. Then of course if Trump did beat Sanders then we're all really screwed Bad moon rising ! |

If you believe The Daily Caller, the Kochs are going to put their money behind the Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson. That could make things interesting.

Any Libertarian party candidate has about as much chance of winning as the Flat Earth Society.
Rand Paul and his dad, long time Libertarians knew this and ran as Republicans |

Oh, I don't think he'd win. But with a decent chunk of cash and as an alternative to Trump he could get a decent number of votes.
down between now and November is if some great big scandal involving himself should occur. If Hillary weren't such a mediocre candidate she would be way ahead of him in the opinion polls. The man is a disgrace, racist, woman hater and even if a smart businessman totally ignorant of national economies and foreign policy. The ignorance of the latter is astounding. How would he ever expect to defeat ISIS for example if he makes it his business to turn the whole Arab world against him by his policy towards Muslim immigrants? |

"A delegate for Donald Trump was indicted Wednesday in Maryland for illegal transport of explosives, illegal possession of a machine gun, and child pornography offenses. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Caleb Andrew Bailey, 30, attempted to illegally ship weapons to an unidentified man in Wisconsin; and that between March 2015 to January 2016, he used a minor to produce child pornography. Bailey faces a maximum of 10 years for the explosives and firearm, and 30 years for the child porn. ABC7 News reports that Bailey acts as a delegate for Trump in Charles County."
