Serious question: is Trump really a pre-meditated fascist, or is he guilty or ignorant and obscene hyperbole?

The way he conducts himself on a platform, just kind of seems like... he doesn't really know what he's doing.

I think he's a classic demagogue. Really, someone who wasn't would have said violence by supporters at his rallies is unacceptable. The fact that he doesn't, and in fact doubles down by implicitly supporting such violence, tells us a lot about him.

He does things instinctively because he has no intellect. But, just because he doesn't think it all out ahead of time, doesn't mean it's not EXACTLY what Trump is selling.

I suspect that those who already supported him will merely be strengthened by tonight's hilarity. Reinforces the US v them mentality. Unless these protestors actually get out and vote his numbers will rise.

Not according to anti trump thugs and preachy liberals though, apparently

Of course he has no intellect

How could a brash, multi billionaire American possibly have any intellect. I mean, he doesn't even talk posh or use big words. Probably doesn't even know how to tie his own shoe laces

Unlikely that those protesting him would register and vote for an alternative Republican candidate, though.

Yes, though you wouldn't know it from watching Trump's speeches, freedom of speech cuts both ways -- people are actually allowed to disagree with him-- what a concept.

And the only thuggery has been coming from Trump on the dais and his supporters on the ground.

Buying and selling real estate etc. doesn't automatically qualify you to lead 350 million people. Most of the criticism here stems from the complete absence of any substance to his plans, policies etc., asides from 'We're going to make deals. The best deals.' kind of nonsense.
