Trump mishandles similar situations on an almost daily basis, and Cruz/Rubio aren't far behind. Perhaps a little balance in your own assessments would be helpful.

Instead of blaming the educational system in the US --- these people simply are not employable in well paying jobs anymore --- yet Trump is blaming minorities. It's a lot easier to blame the brown ones (who also can't get well paying jobs, btw) than to tell these people they need to get up off their lazy asses and get the proper education and technical skills they need to get ahead. Oh, and by the way, it's going to be difficult, you're going to have to crack some books and embrace STEM. It's much easier to blame the Mexicans and Muslims.

The reason Trump is playing nice with Planned Parenthood is because that is where the poor white women go for their birth control, cancer screenings, and their ABORTIONS. Yes, poor white women get ABORTIONS at Planned Parenthood just like the brown ones do.
What do you think the current outcome is going to be, heading into the General? How do you rate Hillary's chances against whoever is the eventual nominee, assuming its either Trump/Rubio/Cruz, specifically in the swing states? You understand the swing states better than anyone, and I was wondering how (what I view as) a pretty extreme Republican candidate would come across in those states.

I went and got my hair cut this morning and could tell Super Predators was a topic of conversation.

Didn't handle the situation well? Not having it recorded?

Well let's go a step further. Large capacity magazines and rapid fire weapons than can kill a dozen or more people in the space of five seconds.

In any normal state of mind these kinds of weapons have no place or use in the hands of civilians in a society which claims to be civilized

Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio and Virginia. Those are (probably) the swing states. Maybe North Carolina? Don't quote me on that and somebody may have a different list. After Super Tuesday we'll have a better bead on turnout and the candidate's differing popularity in those states.

I don't see Cruz being able to take any of those states. I can see Trump taking Florida, Colorado, Pennsylvania, and possibly some others. Rubio is still an unknown in my mind but I think he could do well in Florida and Nevada.

It's difficult to speculate at this early date, specially when we don't know the VP picks yet. So much can still happen.

Are you new here? I criticize Clinton all of the time. I have criticized everybody except Bernie and that's mainly because Bernie makes me smile.

Yes, Trump says much worse things. I don't think Rubio has and Cruz is much too sneaky to be overt. Their policies and platforms are not kind to minorities though.

This is definitely a primary issue for Hillary. The Republicans will have a hard time gaining traction with race as an issue in the general. Bernie has resisted some low hanging fruit in as far as Bill Clinton's record goes.

I guess "Super Predators" weren't such a "topic of conversation" in SC as they were at Boiler's hairdressers. She may have got a bigger share of the black vote than Obama did in '08.

That issue isn't going to change anything for Hillary Clinton. It's something unfortunate that she said when she was acting as a mouthpiece for her husband at a different time in history. Things like this are baked into the Clinton cake.

Yeh, most people are smart enough to realize a remark from over a quarter of a century ago doesn't have the same weight as something said a week ago. She should have handled it better though.

Which is one of the reasons presumably that you can not get them in the US either.

That is not quite true, here are some:Class III Fully Automatic Weapons for Sale | Collectors Firearms

Notice the price and I will let you look up what you need to do to be able to buy a Class III.

Perhaps Obama should stay until the Parties can come up with sensible candidates?
