Are we going to see a secular Jewish socialist in the White House ? And one who will challenge the State of Israel on their policies ? Wow !

Tasnim News Agency - US Republicans Had Urged Iran to Delay Prisoner Swap, Shamkhani Says

If you did not believe Repubs were dogs already...thus might convince you. Those involved should be criminally charged.

Most analysis of this suggests taking a large grain of salt. But like most Onion headlines, it has enough of a ring of truth to it to seem plausible.

On the other hand why would they let Hillary take the credit?

On the other other hand I read that there has been a long running theory that the Iranian hostage crisis of '79 was artificially prolonged so that the release coincided with Reagan's inauguration.

The Iranians agreed to the hostage release of 79 only if they released them after Ronnies inaugeration..as a snub to Carter whom the seriously disliked.

You need to remember the letter signed by 47 Republican members of Congress, behind the presidents back, to Iran trying to scuttle the negotions and any deal...even saying that with A Republican in the White House the deal would be cancelled. They are low lifes that stoop to things that they would want a a Democrat hung for treason for. Oh, and Cotton, who led the charge, was handed a million dollar donation to his campaign by Israel. Can we say bribe?

Missed the first few minutes. I didn't realize that PBS was moderating the Dem debate, that's a good sign.

An hour into it now. It's been civil so far. Bernie is doubling down on the black vote.

I love it! It is a very sensitive topic with the counter culture of that time.

This is rarified air.

Kissinger, revisited. This is something that has obviously been bugging Bernie. Remember, Clinton was on the Judiciary Committee that brought down Nixon.
