Sounds like lots of shenanigans going on with the GOP in Iowa.

Scrat. That seems a vaguely appropriate nickname for Cruz as well.

I'm with Oakvillian. It is official. In this thread, when referring to Cruz it would be sufficient to substitute "Scrat" when referring to the Cuban born in Canada, Ted Cruz. Thank you Leslie for thinking this through and Oakvillian for making it happen.

Example: Ben Carson declared that Scrat's apology doesn't go far enough. He wants to see accountability. Trump declared at a rally in NH that Scrat's campaign is basically dishonest.

The Nobel committee don't announce nominees (and anyone can nominate, even your mum), so this is just a publicity stunt.

Yeah, I already knew that anyway.

His guest was also onto something with the lizard thing. A weasel, a lizard, a snake, a prehistoric rodent with a lizard brain. Either way, he's disgusting and reviled.

I saw some counties in Iowa decided their Democrat candidate on a coin flip!

This just in: Santorum has dropped out of the race - not the freshest news, but he has now endorsed Marco, calling him a "born leader." I'll leave it at that and let the regulars have at it...

Query: since Santorum's strength - such as it was - was with evangelicals, do you think they'll flock to Marco now that Ricki has anointed him?

By the way, Rubio also snagged the endorsement of South Carolina's black senator, Tim Scott. Things seem to be lining up nicely for Marco.

Yeah, somehow Cruz's skullduggery managed to rob them both of first place.

I think they could split between several options, Ben Carson being the most obvious choice. He's still popular with the holy rollers.

I do appreciate Santorum for endorsing the least douchebaggy of the frontrunners.

I still have no idea WTF that was all about. I must have already been asleep or else I was watching the wrong channel. Seriously, I don't know how that works.
