Default Architect work in Bangkok

Hi

I am a Chartered Architect from the UK and I am in Bangkok looking for work as an architect or drafter or assistant.

Does anyone know where I can find work? Any recruitment agencies here in Bangkok or large architect firms I can send my CV?

Any help would be much appreciated

K

I'm not sure they have architects in Bangkok. I think the builder just starts building upwards to see how it goes

....but seriously, be prepared to earn a fraction of what you are used to

Do you ever consider why so many expats work in ****holes like the middle east and north africa, and so few of us work in places like - well, Thailand, Tahiti, or, lets say - Barcelona?

There may be a hint there...

Congratulations and I hope you find a better job as an architect. Don't let negativity get you down.

I know there is a British guy working here in Phuket as an architect, so I wouldn't rule out the possibility of landing work in Bangkok. I doubt an agency will be of much help, you may just have to dig into things yourself. Use google to find out who the big players are, then use linked in to try to connect to some people working there who can get your cv into the right person's hands.

Good luck!
