Default Educational psychology - Aus.

Hi - have searched posts and APS website but nothing seems clear, so hoepfully someone can help.
I'm a secondary teacher here in UK moving to Aus sometime next year (quals. getting assessed just now; so hopefully next year!).
However, I'd really like to branch out of classroom teaching and into ed. psych. - in the UK (as my degree is in Eng. Lit.) I'd have to do some OU courses to 'translate' my quals for BPS reg. before doing 2 years Masters course (I live in Scotland).
I just wondered - would be a similar process in Aus., or very different? Anyone with any experience/knowledge/half an idea would be very helpful just now!

Thanks,

red
