Default BA HONS (QTS) 4 year course

Hi

My wife completed her BA HONS (QTS) 4 year course in 2004 and has worked as a primary teacher ever since. We have just come back from the Down Under Show in London today and 2 of the migration agents have said that this course isn't recognised in Aus? Had a look on forum and I can see there has been problems with 3 year BA HONS (QTS) course and GTP course not being recognised but not the 4 year one. Does anyone have any information on this? Anyone got same qualification and been accepted? Where should she go to find out for sure if it is/isn't recognised in Aus?

Thanks

I believe a 4 year BEd with QTS is recognised but it does depend on the course.

www.teachingaustralia.edu.au assess teaching qualifications for visa applications so have a look on their website and maybe contact them for more information.

I understood it was recognised, it is the four year university study plus the teaching practise that makes it relevant. I've never heard of anyone having problems with this course,it is the three year course that has the problems as Aus. only recognises 4 yrs od study at uni. level.
