Default working in Gibraltar but living in Spain

Hi Please can someone help me? im hoping to move to Manilva with my family but want to work in Gibraltar. I am a qualified social worker but have been told today by someone in the gibraltar office in London that it is no longer possible to work in Gib if you dont live there. Does anyone have any info on this please

To the best of my knowledge that information is incorrect.
At one time Government employees had to be resident in Gib, but in the private sector this is definately not true.
