yes your right it is san miguel de salinas . i visited there couple of weeks ago
nice place peaceful, friendly and a nice atmosphere.
we're going back early august for another visit and have a good look around but without work don't think i'll make a permanent move .

I hate the area around San Miguel, well more to the point the area along the coast to the North, but I really loved SM.....
I still have loads of mates in that area and even now, despite the fact it isn't like it used to be (christ that sounds like an old man!) they still love the place.
Edit............ I will say, a couple of my friends say they are beginning to struggle with work........
