Me cago en la leche... and all the other possibilities. This is the most common phrase I ever used to hear. Literally "I sh*t in the milk (or the salty sea, or the virgin, or God, or just about anything. That in which you "sh*t' on/in is what defines how angry you are (sh*tting on God or the Virgin is only when one is really really mad...usually after dealing with Telefonic or the Ayuntamiento).

Rough translation... Damn it!, or God damn it!

Hi all!
Here are a couple of tongue twisters to try. Best attempted after a glass or two of glasses of vino! I have got a couple more but don't think they will work without Spanish keyboard!

All together now!
Tres tigres tragaban trigo en un trigal
(Three sad tigers where swallowing wheat on a wheatfield)

And for my personal favorite!
Poquito a poquito Paquito empaca poquitas copitas en pocos paquetes
(Little by little Paquito is packing some wine glasses in a few wine boxes)

You may mark your scores yourself from 1-10!

aaah i remember another one now:

pablito calvo un clavito, que clavito clavo pablito?

and-
se me caen las babas (i am dribling/my spit is falling out)
just got back from the dentist so i thought i'd share it with you

Hi all!

You are absolutely right featherbum I did miss the "tristes"! Many thanks for the correction! I was actually just testing to make sure you were all paying attention! ( OK, so I lied!) I should have waited to post it when I got home from work, instead of rushing it before I went. That will teach me!

Doing the bump thingie and reviving this thread

What you will never learn in Spanish 101

Guay (gwhy) Cool

Cojonudo (ko-ho-NOO-doh) Better than cool

Me mola (may MO-la) Love it!

Alucino (ah-lu-THEE-no) Can't believe it!

Paso (PAH-so) Couldn't care less

Juerguista (hwer-GHEE-stah) Party animal

Cutre (KOO-tray) Seedy, lacking class. Sometimes used affectionately, as in, ''Sometimes the most cutre places serve the best tapas.''

Ligar (lee-GAR) To pick up someone.

Hortera (or-TER-ah) Flashy, tacky, kitschy

Fashion (FASH-yohn) Trendy, obsessed with the latest. Used as an adjective, not necessarily related to clothing, as in, ''The people who hang out in Chueca are really fashion.''

Gente guapa (HEN-tay GWA-pah) Beautiful people

Pijo (PEE-ho) A posh and conservative type, as in, ''That party at the golf club was crawling with pijos.''

Come one everyone.....a small contribution daily please

My personal favourite is "gente guapa"!
