Got my mother staying with us and she is a manic Knitter and I need to find somewhere near Benalmadena/Fuengirola etc,where she can buy some wool.....any suggestions are very welcome...

The only place I have seen it on sale here is the markets, try Fuengirola tomorrow if it is on

Or try paginas amarillas under merceria - not all sell wool but many do.

And now I come to think of it, most of the bazar type everything for 1€ shops sell a limited range of wools.

Agree, the "chinese" or what we still call 100 peseta shops do wool, large one near station in Fuengirola or another in Benalmadena, road that runs parallel with road leading to station if coming from Benalmadena Pueblo, has large drive in car park.

thanks for that guys,we did buy some from the bazar and mum started knitting a jumper for my daughter after she had done quite a large section she noticed that it had rolled up into a tube shape and no amount of ironing/steaming would straighten it out,we figured it was the way it had been wound,tried a different ball and same result....cheap wool I guess...or from sheep that were highly strung....

How long is your mum there with you because there must be loads of places that will send wool to you quickly. What about your nearest city or is that not possible>
