The coast I live on - Costa Blanca - is very good for you - warm in winter - one of the best climates in the world according to the World Health Organisation.

Lots of Brits too so you will feel right at home if that's what you are looking for.

Towns - Javea, Moraira, Denia, Calpe, Benidorm if you want a big city, Alicante.

There are so many apartments here you can't fail to get a good deal - expect to pay €400 a month approx.

Thought I ought to mention the Montgo for anyone considering accommodation in Javea or Denia. It is 753 metres high and separates the two towns. If you live right in the foothills, you will find it noticeably damper in the winter and also you will be in the shade for 4 months of the year.

Hi Glynis,

Any what you pay for your logs, by the sack and by the lorry load.

Thanks.

W pay about 70 to 110 Euros here in Huelva province. Depends on the type of wood and supplier.

by the way had a far bit of pine last year, its like rocket fuel never seen wood burn so easy.

6 euros a sack, so obviously we are paying a lot more over the course of the winter. It´s the space thing! So if you order a lorry load how much weight is that?

Not sure of the weight, but it takes me nearly all day to shift it into my garage from the road outside.
