Let me rephrase that then!
I am wondering if this thread should be moved because if publicly viewed by Leica, Apple and/or any other associated companies, you were to be found out that you had the intention of using their UK products illegally in Spain without following appropriate immigration protocols!

Is that any better?

The ipod will work but the earphones won't. If you want to understand a b***y word you'll need to get a babel fish adaptor, plug that into your earphone jack and then stick your earphones into the adaptor. I believe you can buy them from most electrical retailers for a very reasonable £19.99. Make sure you get the European model. For just £5 extra you can get the Worldwide model. Hope that helps Matt.

And don`t forget the small works licence if you change the batteries in your house or on the terrace.

Its much easier living in the UK when it come to stuff like this you know, and if it wasn't for all the bloody immigrants coming in and living here I would stay you know.

I thought you guys were well informed - I was wrong.
Since Spains full integration into the EU, a whole bunch of legislative issues have been streamlined.
However some of the operating systems within the affected devices will require to be brought in line with the new standards.
If anyone is unsure about the status of their device they should take it to any branch of Comet or Dixons and ask for their device to be screened for EU Recc 2112 compliance, this test is carried out free of charge.
Hope that clears up a few of your concerns.
