I don't know about anybody else but when I first went to Spain and managed to order my first meal and drinks in Spanish I felt elated, it made me want to learn the language much more and I found it very surprising how quick I picked it up.

"Errrr and your purpose of posting ? Not related to the OP post at all. At least we are talking about events that have happened in Spain and are relevant if you have no or little spanish. "

Relevant!? OP does not want to learn Spanish. He could not be clearer, he is not interested in the rights or wrongs of this choice.

"Sorry but, this is my first question on this good forum and so I thought my original questions were pretty specific.... if you cannot answer my questions directly I would prefer if you didn't respond at all .....it’s time-wasting, simplistic & dictatorial all at the same time."

And I know...I´m wasting my time now. Just found OP´s direct attitude a nice change. You´ll be glad to know I won´t be reading this topic anymore.

The thing is that if this post and every other was answered "really directly" the forum would end up with thouseands of posts of about 8 replies each if that.

Eg. OP. How much will it cost to get from Alicante airport to Benidorm?
Cheers Tom.

reply 1 taxi 40 euros.

reply 2 Bus 6 euros each.

OP. Thank you very much for your direct answer. Cheers Tom.
