where are the Fires?
#1
Hi
Just seen a news report, about the fires on the CDS, where are they?
Just worried I am about to complete on a house in Torreblanca area, and although the house is not in a campo area it has a lot of trees around it.
The news report makes it look quite bad!
regards
Al

Our prayers to all of those affected in Málaga. The fires are huge and deadly. A TV report said the front was 30kms across. In Mojácar (AlmerÃÂa), we had an enormous hail and thunder storm last night, with lots of heavy rain. The local Unicaja is currently under 1.5m of water.

I live in Alhaurin El Grande and have been up most of the night watching the huge fire which apparently is all down the coast towards Elviria. Hope everyone is safe at this very scarey time.

It all looks dreadful. It actually made the news here in New Zealand.
Hoping it ends soon and that everyone in the area remains safe.

Right now there are numerous fund-raising, helpinghand type appeals going on. From all accounts the emergency services were like emergency services everywhere - ie brilliant. and the general public are rallying like the general public rallies everywhere. All that remains to be confirmed is how (who? or is that simply an anagram?) the fire(s) started. Oh, and of course, the insurance claims, the rehousing people, etc..........
