Does anyone know if I can get wheat free pasta in Spain?

Also any other wheat free products that will make up for not having bread etc?

I think that Mercadonna have a range of gluten free foods.

Up here, both Mercadona and Carrefour have Gluten free stuff, with quite a lot of choice!

In the Mercadonna's here the 'health foods' are usually are usually near the toiletries and not where you would expect to find them.

Sorry, didn't take a closer look at the link at the time of posting. I now discover that my pop up blocker doesn't allow me to open the list of businesses (empresas). However, I have looked briefly at the website for F.A.C.E. (same link), and note that the circular symbol of a strand of wheat with a diagonal line through it does NOT necessarily mean it is gluten free. Some products still contain a small percentage of gluten. Read this page:

You should look for the product label with the "Controlado por F.A.C.E." (green octagonal symbol of wheat).
Mercadona products are listed under "Hacendado".
Carrefour products, "Carrefour sin gluten" (according to this source) have been on the shelves since February 08.
I was amazed at how many products actually contain sources of gluten: barbeque sauces, burgers, sausages, teas, etc.
