Drama Queen, Royal Queen, Gay Queen or Queen and Queen ?

Lots of controversy here, especially amongst the Tories.

Major riots in France because a similar bill was passed there.

I can't think of any way society is damaged by allowing same-sex couples to marry if they want. They will just be non-married-same-sex couples if it's prohibited, so what difference does it make? really? I think we have more important things to worry about. Just sign it into law and move on...

Quite, though obviously a lot of MPs, mostly Tories, as well as the Clergy, think otherwise and obviously have strong feelings about it.
The way I see it Marriage is irrelevant anyway, especially when most only end in divorce.
Best just shack up together and see how it goes.

Exactly, so why are they wasting so much time discussing something that wasn't in the manifesto (whilst ignoring more important things that were) to appease a vocal minority of the population?

VOTES

The thing is they are not listening to the silent majority who feel that their voice would not be heard, no matter what is said.
Especially as the trend is to elevate minorities to a level of acceptance under threat of law to those who disagree
