It was a very odd sensation, as the noise would strobe a bit so it was like being in the sea and being struck by a freak wave.
If you disturbed them they would fly off in a panic and a spurt of sap.

I love the summer. I love the heat - which I'd thought would be the hardest thing to get used to coming to Spain.
Flamenco in the castle gardens in Córdoba. I spent much of the last 2 summers there - there are several free flamenco nights per week right through the summer - go if you get the chance.
Seville. Of the few times I'd been to Seville I wasn't very impressed, there were far too many people around. Then I went last August and it was fantastic.
What do I hate? Going back to work in September.
